Property Description
Gorgeous square-shaped parcel located within an ocean of sage in the heart of Hondo Mesa just north of the 3-Mile Line. This parcel, conveying with no restrictions, is perfect for anyone looking at off-grid options but in an area closer to town. Legal access runs from east side of the parcel all the way south for two miles to HWY-64 with access onto the highway at Quino Road. This was part of the Eliseo Santistevan family land used for sheep herding with origins running back to into 1800s. The parcel can be divided if desired though, as it is, it would make a perfect building site with dark skies at night, views direct to the glimmering lights of Arroyo Seco and views directly up the Twining Valley leading to Taos Ski Valley. The parcel is 3.7 miles to the OBL and therefore around eight miles altogether to the Village of Arroyo Seco or to Taos Plaza in town.

Follow HWY-64 out of Taos town to former OBL, make left on HWY-64 heading towards Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and follow 1.7 miles to Quino Road (after Jose Manuel Road bit 1/10 of a mile before Cielo Dulce at Blue Feather Soap), make a right and follow 15 feet up onto easement. Make an acute right down onto dual track trail-blazed road/pathway running parallel with HWY-64 (located in direct sight to your south) and follow for around 300 feet to the bottom. At bottom, make an acute left at the stake with pink tape and proceed slowly north on trail-blazed road for exactly two miles to the parcel situated on the left side - see SE and NE T-bars with pink orange tape identifying general property corners. Four-wheel/all-wheel drive recommended.
