From the traffic light at the North end of Taos known as "The Blinking Light", make a right on Highway 150 toward Arroyo Seco. Travel 2.7 miles to make a left on State Road 230. Follow 230 2.5 miles to The Rim Road. Make a right and quick left to follow 230 .8 miles down into Valdez. Look for an unmarked dirt road just before The Valdez Bar.
