From Ranchos, head south on Highway 68, to mile marker 38. On the left side of the street, at exactly that mile marker, there’s a road, Kristine Selph Road. (If you get as far as Stakeout Drive, you’ve overshot.) Kristine Selph is a gravel road, and it is in reasonably good shape. Take it for about a mile and a quarter, heading up into the Pinon forest. That road dead ends at a red gate, but Camino Perdido starts right there – it’s a very sharp left hand turn (more than 90 degrees). Number seven is the first house on Camino Perdido, and it’s on the right hand side.
